Facts about Urdu Language

Urdu is an Indo- Aryan language of Indo-Iranian branch. Urdu language is full of beauty and elegance seems to have been custom-built for literature, prose and poetry. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and also widely spoken maximum countries of the world. Urdu by itself is the twentieth most popular language. The number Urdu speakers are around 60 to 70 million majority living in Pakistan and India. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and the speakers live in almost all big cities. In India Urdu speakers are found in majority in Muslims communities.

Dialects of Urdu language

There are four recognized dialects of Urdu.
1.      Dakhini
2.      Pinjari
3.      Rekhta
4.      Khariboli or Modern Vernacular 

Genders in Urdu Language

Two genders are available in Urdu language the first is masculine and the second one is Feminine Masculine carries males and feminine carries females.
Word order in Urdu Language
The way in which words are arranged follows Subjects then comes the Object and then comes the Verb. This rule can be ignored if the structure is complicated or there is a need to give some word specific pressure.

Verbal Aspects of Urdu Language

There are three aspects of Urdu verbs but also show the specific gender.
1         Habitual
2         Progressive
3         Perfective
