The majority of these soldiers are of Persian origin
.
They directly affected the language to be used between them. It is the language of the government dominated earlier on was Farsi, but eventually changed to Urdu to accommodate the other races. It is the fact that; Urdu vocabulary contains approximately 60%Farsi and the rest being a mixture of Arab and Turkish languages.
The grammar takes some elements from the Farsi and Arabic languages but also has elements that are unique and different from all three of its mother tongues. In current time, many Urdu speakers have adopted many English and Hindi terms following the effects of globalization and success of Indian film industry, in Pakistan.

The linguistic status of Urdu and Hindi has been the subject of fierce debate. Some argue treated as the same language; others that they should be treated separately on the grounds of differences in vocabulary and word order.
