The literature of any language plays a great role in the expansion of the horizon of the human mind. In the particular era, we recognized that outside almost the many nations, the Pakistanis neglect at the back. Together with other things, if we will see the literature that belongs to the language, Urdu ‘hopes that their marbles might be opened and open-minded.

However, how to make easy the masses ready see the Urdu literature. A number of steps really should automatically get to develop the practice of reading Urdu literature one of the nations.

1. Increasing the literacy rate
The biggest issues of Pakistan are usually that its more than 60% population is illiterate. The government keeps on lying in this regard to the literacy rate. The total numbers of people who will actually read Urdu is extremely low. Improving the literacy rate of Pakistan should be the biggest preference of the government. However, the Pakistanis have always been unfortunate when it comes to the government and its policies.
2. Conducting reading workshops
The publishing houses should conduct reading workshops to support reading one of the individuals. Establishing totally free reading rooms while in the bookshops is a sensible assessment. Besides that, the libraries really should even be established.

Growth of Urdu Poetry

Though text seems to be the natural form of communication, if we think a little deeply, we come to the conclusion that man first feels and then only thinks, therefore poetry, which comes from the heart is actually a more natural form of expression, while prose is better suited to the expression of flow of thoughts of cerebral nature and to formal writing.

Literature in all the languages of the world finds its origin in poetry. Poetry is a life force, which finds its roots in literature long before text; rhyming is a natural habit of people, and even children learn things in rhyme much more easily then in prose.
Before the arrival of writing, in the oral tradition, it was only the powerful magic of the poetry that could be retained in human mind, and the power of memory was also familiar to poetry better than text, poetry was also more suited to public speech and recitation.

The spirit of Urdu, before its origin was so rich in its thought, creative and emotional content that when the time came for it to emerge as a language, it just burst forth like Minerva, from the hair of the Jupiter of Urdu poetry and philosophy in poetic and not in prose form. So Urdu started as a language in poetic rather than text form.

Urdu and Hindi

The term Urdu came into use when Shah Jahan built the Red Fort in Delhi. The word Urdu itself comes from a Turkish word ''ordu'' or "army", from which English also gets the word "horde". Urdu is sometimes called "Lashkarizuban" or the language of the army.

Because of their similarities of grammar and core vocabularies, many linguists do not distinguish between Hindi and Urdu as separate languages at least not in reference to the informal spoken registers. Ordinary informal Urdu and Hindi can be seen as the same language (Hindustani) with the difference being that Urdu is supplemented with a per so-Arabic vocabulary and Hindi a Sanskrit vocabulary. Additionally, there is the convention of Urdu being written in Perso-Arabic script, and Hindi in Devanagari.

The most important difference at this level is in the script: if written in the Perso-Arabic script, the language is generally considered to be Urdu, and if written in Devanagari it is generally considered to be Hindi.

The two standardized registers of Hindustani, Hindi and Urdu have become as separate languages that often nationalists, both Muslim and Hindu, claim that Hindi and Urdu have always been separate languages. It is said that Indian Bollywood films are made in "Hindi" but the language used in most of them is almost the same as that of Urdu speakers. The dialogue is frequently developed in English and later translated to an intentionally Hindustani which can be easily understood by speakers of most North Indian languages, both in India and in Pakistan.

Facts about the Urdu Language

Urdu language is full of beauty and grace seems to have been custom-built for literature, prose and poetry. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and also widely spoken in India. Urdu by itself is the twentieth most popular language in the world.

Urdu is widely spoken today in sizeable countries including Nepal, Saudi Arabia, UAE, US, Germany, France, Spain, Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, Eastern Europe, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Tanzania, Zambia etc.
Urdu is a very expressive language. In poetry and songs, it can convey emotions using simple and gentle words while its literature can also be used for exact and rational reasoning. It has absorbed both the native and non-native elements of writing in Arabic and Persian. Besides, it derives its words from Sanskrit.

Urdu is very similar to Hindi while speaking but both are totally different in writing form. It is written in the per sio-Arabic script, while Hindi follows the Sanskrit (Devnagri script) characters. It is a very flexible language and has adopted words from English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Persian, Arabic, Turkish and others.

Urdu Language

Urdu historically spelled “Ordu” is an Indo-Aryan language of the Indo-Iranian branch, belonging to Indo-European family of languages. It developed under Persian, Arabic and Turkic influence in South Asia during the Delhi Sultanate and Mughal Empire. Standard Urdu has approximately the twentieth largest population of native speakers, among all languages. It is the national language of Pakistan. There are 60,503,579 people speaking Urdu language on World total basis.

Urdu is often contrasted with Hindi, another standardized form of Hindustani. The main difference between the Hindi and Urdu is that Standard Urdu is written in Nastaliq calligraphy style of the Per so-Arabic script and some words are taken from Persian and Arabic, while Standard Hindi is written in Devanagari and has inherited significant vocabulary from Sanskrit.

Linguists therefore consider Urdu and Hindi to be two standardized forms of the same language. Because of Urdu is slightly similar to Hindi, speakers of the two languages can usually understand one another, if both sides refrain from using specialized vocabulary. Indeed, linguists sometimes count them as being part of the same Genetic language. Urdu and Hindi are socio-politically different, and people who self-describe as being speakers of Hindi would question their being counted as native speakers of Urdu and vice-versa.

Introduction of Urdu Language

Urdu is the national language of Pakistan, was created around the 1600’s in Central Asia. The word Urdu comes from the Turkish word ‘ordu’ means ‘camp’ or ‘army’. It was entirely used as a unifying communication tool between the Muslims soldiers during their conquest of Ancient India and Eastern Persia. These soldiers were of Persian, Arab, or Turkish descent. The majority of these soldiers are of Persian origin
.
They directly affected the language to be used between them. It is the language of the government dominated earlier on was Farsi, but eventually changed to Urdu to accommodate the other races. It is the fact that; Urdu vocabulary contains approximately 60%Farsi and the rest being a mixture of Arab and Turkish languages.
The grammar takes some elements from the Farsi and Arabic languages but also has elements that are unique and different from all three of its mother tongues. In current time, many Urdu speakers have adopted many English and Hindi terms following the effects of globalization and success of Indian film industry, in Pakistan.

The linguistic status of Urdu and Hindi has been the subject of fierce debate. Some argue treated as the same language; others that they should be treated separately on the grounds of differences in vocabulary and word order.
